Mutual exchange
If you are an existing secure tenant of Ashfield or Mansfield District Council or an assured tenant of one of the partner Registered Providers you may want to consider swapping your home with another eligible tenant.
There are a number of websites where you can advertise your home and search for a suitable exchange. If you are an Ashfield District Council tenant you can join the Homeswapper site for free. If you are a tenant of one of the other Homefinder partners you will need to peak to your landlord to see if they subscribe to one of the advertising sites.
If you are struggling to register and search for a suitable exchange, contact your Housing Officer.
It is important that you contact your Housing Officer when you have found a suitable swap as you will need permission to move. Please do not move homes without approval.
