Housing applicants should be aware that the Homefinder Lettings Policy is changing. the new Policy will be implemented in late October 2026. If you are affected by the changes we will write to you in early October to advise you how you are affected. If you are not affected by the changes, we will not write to you.

The Local Lettings Policy that will be used to let the new build properties at Hardwick Lane, Sutton in Ashfield has been revised. 

The properties are almost ready to let and Lettings Officers will be working through the property shortlists in the coming weeks. 

You can view details of Ashfield DC properties let during 2025/6. The information can help you understand how many properties became available in the District and the banding and waiting time of those who were rehoused.  

EMH have almosted completed a fifty-six home new build development on Victoria Street in Mansfield and will begin the allocation process in the coming weeks.

Ashfield DC will soon complete the affordabkle housing development scheme at Hardwick Lane, Sutton in Ashfield. 40 new homes are being build, 28 of which are 2 and 3 bedroom family homes. The homes are likely to be advertised in late April 2026. The 2 and 3 bedroom houses will be let in accordance with a Local Lettings Policy
