At the end of the advertising cycle bids are placed in priority band order to produce a shortlist of all interest and eligible applicants.
If more that one applicant in a band applies for a property, applicants will be sorted by their effective date, this will be the date their application was placed in that housing need band.
If you are at the top of the shortlist you will be considered for the property first. Your details will be checked to ensure your band is correct and that you remain eligible for the property. You will be asked to provide evidence to support your application along with proof of your identification and income.
Following the checks, the first eligible applicant on the shortlist will be invited to view the property and they will be made the provisional offer of accommodation.
If the first person on the shortlist is not eligible or refuses the offer the next application on the shortlist will be contacted.
If you are unsuccessful you will not be contacted but you can check your final position on the shortlist by logging in to your online account.
